The Screen Actors Guild on Saturday rejected the “last best” contract offer from the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, TelevisionWeek reports. The rejection raises the possibility of a strike authorization vote, the Hollywood Reporter says. Some wonder if SAG will press News Corp. president Peter Chernin and Walt Disney Co. CEO Robert Iger to get involved in talks, Daily Variety says.
