Universal Sports is adding about 19 million households in 20 markets, bringing its distribution to almost 45 million homes, less than a year before the Vancouver Olympics, Broadcasting & Cable reports. The network, owned by NBC, will be carried on the NBC affiliates’ digital spectrum in most of the new markets, such as Denver and Salt Lake City, the trade paper says.
