Katie Couric said Alex Rodriguez in 2007 called her to ask, “What team do you think I should play for?,” she said on the “Late Show with David Letterman on Monday, the Associated Press reports. Couric said she had been talking to Rodriguez frequently that year because she was seeking to convince him to sit for a “60 Minutes” interview, the news service says.

  1. That’s cute. A-Rod asking Katie for career experience. Like Katie has ever had a real job. I wonder if she even knew what he was talking about? She probably giggled, which is what she does for a living, and asked him for a date. These two pathetic losers should be together.

  2. A-Rod has never had a real job either, which is why he’d ask someone like her for advice. Losers? They make $50 million a year between them. They’re not losers. In today’s world people with real jobs are the losers.
