ABC Banks on Recession Comedies

ABC is banking on two recession-themed comedies, hoping that they will draw viewers by tapping into economic worries, Advertising Age reports. One is an untitled project starring Kelsey Grammer as a Wall Street bigshot forced into spending more time at home, and the second is called “Canned,” about some Gen X friends who are fired from an investment bank, the trade paper says.
