ABC is set to broadcast a new version of “Ben Hur,” a miniseries written by Alan Sharp that’s set to begin production in May, Daily Variety reports. There isn’t yet an airdate for the $22.5 million production, which will be directed by Steve Shill of HBO’s Rome, the trade paper says.
