‘Bachelor’ Creator Says Finale Not Faked

“The Bachelor” creator Mike Fleiss said events during the reality dating series’ “After the Final Rose” special Monday were not staged, People magazine reports. During the reunion special, “Bachelor” Jason Mesnick broke up with winner and fiancée Melissa Rycroft and asked runner-up Molly Malaney to get back together with him. Fleiss said he had approached Malaney about being the series’ next “Bachelorette” until he learned that things were not going smoothly between Mesnick and Rycroft, People explains.
