Minka Kelly of “Friday Night Lights” has been cast as the lead in The CW’s pilot “Body Politic,” the Hollywood Reporter says. She’ll play Hope, who leaves her home in Michigan after her mother dies to take a job on the staff of the Attorney General, who is also her father, the trade paper says. Jason Dohring has also been tapped for the pilot, playing a Washington Post reporter, the publication reports.
