NBC’s executive VP of late-night programming Rick Ludwin said “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’s” performance for its first week was “right where we hoped we would be,” the Los Angeles Times reports. In its first week with new host Jimmy Fallon, the show averaged a 2.0 rating among the metered-market households, the newspaper says. While CBS’s “Late, Late Show With Craig Ferguson” averaged a 1.6 for the week, the Times also points out that shows will have “inflated numbers for their premieres.”
