The National Association of Broadcasters’ Education Foundation has announced the winners of its 11th annual Service to America Awards, recognizing “outstanding community service by local broadcasters,” TVNewsday reports. Among those in TV receiving recognition are WFMY-TV in Greensboro, N.C., WCIU-TV in Chicago and KOBI-TV/KOTI-TV in Medford, Ore., the site says. Winners will be recognized at a ceremony June 8 at the Renaissance Washington Hotel, TVNewsday says.
