NBC Entertainment co-Chairman Ben Silverman backed “Kings” after his predecessor, Kevin Reilly, passed on the program, DeadlineHollywoodDaily reports. The network spent $10 million on Sunday’s two-hour debut and is spending another $4 million per episode, an extravagant sum for any show and especially so given the program drew only 6 million viewers overall, the Web site says.
