NBCU Banks on ‘Green’

NBC Universal is planning a green marketing initiative to promote its shows as environmentally friendly, using the tagline “Green Lives Here,” Broadcasting & Cable reports. NBC Universal’s research found that three-quarters of consumers believe going green benefits the economy, and that they are willing to pay more for environmentally sound products, the trade paper says. When asked which network is the most “green,” almost one-third cited NBC, while 5% voted for Fox and 4% apiece went for ABC and CBS, the publication says.
