Nets Have Midseason Hopes

With 10 new series ready to roll, the broadcast networks are hoping midseason will be fertile ground for producing hits, the Los Angeles Times says. Broadcast ratings are up in the first quarter for the broadcasters—but that’s because they’re being compared with last year’s strike-crippled season, the paper says.
