Former NBC executive Katherine Pope has been tapped to run the TV operations of the new company Peter Chernin plans to start after he steps down as chief operating officer of News Corp., DeadlineHollywoodDaily reports. Chernin’s contract with News Corp. gives him a production deal on extremely favorable terms, the Web site says.
