Emmy Award-winning TV director Harry Harris passed away last Thursday at the age of 85, the Associated Press reports. Harris worked on such classic shows as “Fame,” “Bonanza” and “7th Heaven,” the news service says. He died of complications related to myelodysplasia, a blood disorder, according to his stepson Michael Daruty, senior VP of technical operations at NBC Universal, the AP adds.
