ABC Stations Create Digital Channel

Ten television stations owned by ABC are starting a digital channel called Live Well HD Network, Broadcasting & Cable reports. The network will air three hours of original programming each day, mostly created by the stations, and rely on advertising, the trade magazine says. The channel will be managed by WLS-TV general manager Emily Barr in Chicago and ABC’s owned-and-operated digital media executive vice president Bill Burton, the publication adds.
