The Boston television station that said it would not air Jay Leno’s new 10 p.m. show, WHDH-TV, has reversed its decision, putting down a revolt against NBC’s primetime programming plan, TelevisionWeek reports. “We look forward to working closely with the station on a successful launch in Boston of this show, featuring one of the most bankable stars in the business,” network president John Eick said in a statement on Monday.

  1. WHDH-TV owner Ed Ansin had to back down and agree to run Leno because, despite NBC being in 4th place among the big 4, it’s a better place financially than winding up as a CW affiliate, or worse, an independent, had Ansin stuck to his plan.
