Fox TV Studios has signed a first-look deal with director Andrew Lau, producer Andrew Loo and former Flame Ventures president Zack Sherman to develop English-language content that could be produced in Southeast Asia and sold to a U.S. network, Daily Variety reports. The model is similar to the way Fox TV Studios developed “Mental,” which was filmed in Colombia, the trade paper says.
