Journal Communications is ordering a 6% pay cut for most employees, with on-air broadcast talent at Journal Broadcast Group being asked to negotiate payroll reductions, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. In return for the pay reduction, employees will get 10 more personal days off. In a letter to employees, company CEO Steven J. Smith, says the program reflects a decline in advertising sales, the paper says.
