KMPH-TV and KFRE-TV in Fresno, Calif., cut 22 employees on Thursday, the Fresno Bee reports. The local stations, owned by New World TV Group, cut production and behind-the-scenes staff, with general manager Jack Peck telling the newspaper that the staff may be rehired when the economy rebounds.
