Jay Leno performed the first of two free shows in Detroit as part of his “Comedy Stimulus” shows, the Detroit Free Press reports. Following an opening by musician Kid Rock, Leno joked about President Barack Obama, fast food and James Bond, the newspaper says. Leno called Detroit “one of the great industrial cities of America,” the Free Press adds. Also in attendance at the show was NBC Entertainment co-chair Ben Silverman, the Press notes.
