New Shows Already on Bubble

USA Today has launched its annual “Save Our Shows” poll, which asks viewers to vote on which series the networks should renew and which should be cancelled. ABC launched several shows later in the season than usual and all of them are already on the bubble. “Usually by this time we pretty much know what we have to play with for shows coming back,” ABC scheduling chief Jeff Bader tells the paper. But, he says, it takes only three or four airings to see how a show will perform. “It just means we’re a little delayed.”
