A regional Edward R. Murrow award won by WGME-TV in Portland, Maine, is being reviewed because some of its footage was paid for by the subject of the report, the Portland Press Herald says. The Radio-Television News Directors Association, which gives out the Murrows, was notified about the involvement of the Maine Foundation for Cardiac Surgery by an email from a source it did not disclose, the paper says.
