Entertainment Weekly notes that most shows with a science fiction theme on broadcast TV have either been canceled or are unlikely to come back and it wants to know why. “Do you have any clue, any insight as to why the literature of ideas can no longer find a foothold on the air,” EW asks. “Have we, as a society, just become too—gulp—stupid for science fiction?”
