ABC has agreed to back up CBS’ “The New Adventures of Old Christine,” assuring a full-season order to the comedy if CBS decides to skip on renewing the show, the Hollywood Reporter says. Still, chances are CBS will renew the program, which is said to be a favorite of ABC chief Stephen McPherson, the trade paper says.
