The Fox affiliates board views Fox’s new entertainment chairman Peter Rice as an ally, giving him support at the affiliates’ board meeting on Sunday evening, Broadcasting & Cable reports. “He probably will, in the not too distant future, emerge as one of the main strategic leaders in network television,” Fox affiliates board chairman John Tupper tells the trade paper. He said Rice is willing to have an open exchange and is willing to learn, the trade paper adds.
