Fox Needs Breakout Hit for Fall

Fox is facing pressure to deliver at least one new breakout hit show this fall, Media Life Magazine reports. Although the network is wrapping up this spring as the No. 1 network thanks to the “American Idol” bump, many of Fox’s shows are aging and showing decreases, the site says. Potential big draws such as “Glee” or “The Cleveland Show” are needed to fill in for lower-performing shows that may not return next year and to compensate for the dips among established returning series, Media Life says.

  1. If FOX is really smart they’d fill the void of a strong sitcom like the former Bernie Mac Show(R.I.P)
with “Brothers” co-starring Michael Strahan & Daryl “Chill” Mitchell this Fall. Fox has won over the audience by “betting on Black” or urban fare before with series like “In Living Color, Martin & Living Single.” Strahan is wildly popular and has a loyal audience of sports fans who’ll watch anything he does and Daryl Mitchell is a sitcom vet who’s comedic magic!!
