Fox kicked off the television networks’ upfront presentations with a plan to stay as stable as possible in the fall so as to avoid overhauling its lineup in winter, Television Week reports. The network will put “So You Think You Can Dance” at the start of the season, where it will compete with ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” the New York Times adds. Jon Nesvig, Fox’s president of sales, said the network hasn’t had to reduce prices set in last year’s upfront deals, TVWeek says. The trade paper adds that Fox Entertainment president Kevin Reilly told ad buyers that “Remote Free TV” isn’t returning, although the network will air special episodes with smaller commercial loads.
