‘Gossip Girl’ Readies for Spinoff

Monday’s episode of “Gossip Girl” sets up a planned spinoff centered on the teenage years of one of the series characters, USA Today reports. “Gossip Girl” and its spinoff are aimed at women 18 to 34, the demographic where the CW is trying to build its business, the paper says.
