NBC yesterday delayed pilot screenings of “Mercy,” “State of Romance” and “Off Duty” until today after the sudden death of Nora O’Brien, the network’s vice president of drama development, the Hollywood Reporter says. O’Brien’s death has called into question whether NBC will be ready for its scheduled Monday announcement of its full slate of programming for next season, the newspaper reports.
