Nielsen Viewers Not Pushing Buttons

Nielsen told television networks that viewing is being undercounted by 8% because people in its sample homes aren’t pushing the buttons that help it collect demographic data, the Wall Street Journal reports. Since the problem affects all networks, it isn’t likely to have a significant effect on the TV marketplace, a TV ad sales exec tells the paper.
