The new program designed to pool news resources among four major Chicago-area TV stations kicked off smoothly Monday, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Even though the four stations began sharing the same crews and footage, they each held on to a sense of “individuality,” the newspaper says. “I think it will take several days at least before we begin to get a good sense of how this is going to play out,” said Emily Barr, general manager for ABC-owned WLS, the major local station not participating, the Sun Times adds.
