Telemundo Close to Televisa Deal

Telemundo is working on a deal with Mexican media company Televisa to launch a cable network in Mexico beginning in August, Adweek Media reports. Telemundo also announced its programming slate for the 2009-10 year, the trade publication says. Telenovelas airing next year include “Niños Ricos, Niños Pobres” (Rich Kids, Poor Kids), which features a teenager who starts rolling in the elite circles of Mexico City, Adweek Media adds.
