News Corp. CEO Rupert Murdoch followed up the company’s largely dismal earnings report by declaring that it looked to him like the worst of the recession was over, TelevisionWeek reports. “There is a lot of activity, but it is not back to the boom stage,” Murdoch said during a conference call with analysts and reporters. “But at least we’ve hit the floor and we’re getting some bounce off it.”

  1. May Murdoch receive the ratings he deserves. May he become financially, as he is morally, bankrupt. That’s my prayer to the gods of justice and karma for the day.

  2. So if the worst of the recession is over, according to Murdoch, then the Obama Administration MUST be doing a great job with the economy, right? I assume Fox News anchors will join in a rousing chorus of “Happy Days are Here Again”
