’60 Minutes’ Creator Don Hewitt Dead at 86

Don Hewitt, the man who created CBS’s definitive magazine show, "60 Minutes," has succumbed to cancer at age 86, TVWeek reports.

Hewitt’s death comes just weeks after CBS lost another news giant, the late anchorman Walter Cronkite.
