“30 Rock” star Alec Baldwin doesn’t plan to move to Connecticut to challenge Sen. Joe Lieberman in the 2012 election, despite what he told Playboy, the Associated Press reports.
Baldwin’s spokesman said the star wants Lieberman, a moderate Republican who once was a Democrat, to remain in office. The actor had told Playboy in an interview earlier this summer that he would love to take on the Senator.
