Three of the team behind “Arrested Development” have reunited for a new single-camera Fox comedy,  The Hollywood Reporter reports.

Mitch Hurwitz, creator and exec producer of the "Arrested Development," along with co-star Will Arnett and co-executive producer Jim Vallely are on board for the new project, which is being written by the three of them. It stars Arnett as a wealthy jerk in Beverly Hills who falls in love with a woman who hates his lifestyle. The show has a script commitment.

"Arrested Development" was a hit creatively, and won an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series, but the show never drew a big audience.

  1. If the writing is as perfected as Arrested Development, then it could bring an audience. FOX has some problems with their comedies, they never truely bring in a strong amount. Maybe with a post Idol timeslot that would change.
