The FCC, as part of its reevaluation of how the V-chip is working to provide family friendly programming, plans to examine whether it would be possible to have a single ratings system that would apply to TV, as well as movies, videogames and cellphone content, Washington, D.C., correspondent Ira Teinowitz reports for The Wrap.

  1. The practical answer to this is no. It’s like trying to have a single miles per gallon standard for every type of engine.
One size can not fit all.

  2. WHY? What is wrong w the current raitng system.
    Leave it along FCC.
What the US govt needs to do is get on board w the rest of the world & us SI units. Gas should be in per km not per mi.
