Kate Gosselin of TLC’s "Jon & Kate Plus 8" has been tapped to fill in for Elisabeth Hasselbeck on ABC’s "The View" on Sept. 14 and 15, according to People magazine.

Since separating from her husband Jon, the couple’s troubles have become of the focus of the show, and Kate has appeared on other programs, including "Live with Larry King," explaining her side of their story.
