Ben Lyons and Ben Mankiewicz, the current hosts of “At the Movies,” will be replaced in the upcoming season by The New York Times’ lead movie critic, A.O. Scott, and the Chicago Tribune’s lead film critic, Michael Phillips, B&C reports.

The 24th season of “At the Movies” is set to begin September 5. Disney-ABC Television Group oversees ABC Media Productions, which produces “At The Movies.”
For many years the show was the popular TV home of movie critics Gene Siskel, who died in 1999, and Roger Ebert.
