On Tuesday, October 27, the NBA season will begin on TNT with two games, Daily Variety reports.

First, the Boston Celtics will take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. The second game will be between the Lakers and the Clippers. Before the game, the Lakers will collect their 2008-09 championship rings in a ceremony.

Later in the year, ABC will carry the Lakers vs. Cavaliers game on Christmas Day.

Like last year, ESPN will air many of the Wednesday-Friday games, in addition to airing four out of five of the Christmas Day games.

The 2010 All-Star game will take place at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas on February 7, with the NBA Slam Dunk Contest scheduled for the same weekend.
