Nicholas Weinstock Leaves Apatow to Develop Comedy For Film and TV at Peter Chernin’s New Company

Peter Chernin hired Nicholas Weinstock from Judd Apatow’s production company to oversee comedy development, both in film and TV, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Weinstock once worked in corporate communications at News Corp., where Chernin was president. As development head at Apatow Prods, he was involved in the films “Year One,” “Funny People” and “Get Me to the Greek.”
