Aug 5, 2009  •  Post A Comment

Watching TV is the worst kind of inactivity for children, according to Time magazine.

Researchers in America and Spain collaborated on the study of 111 children ages 3 to 8 and discovered that more than using a computer or any other sedentary behavior, watching television is the most detrimental, especially in regard to higher blood pressure in children, Time reports.

The higher blood pressure was apparent in healthy and overweight children. The study was published in the Archives of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine.
