The SEC Digital Network Formed to Crack Down on Fan Posting of Game Footage

Aug 21, 2009  •  Post A Comment

NCAA football officials in the Southeastern Conference are taking steps to restrict fans from using images, videos and sounds collected in real time from games and then posted online to Web sites, Facebook and other social networking sites, according to the New York Times.

The conference will be marketing game material on the SEC Digital Network. Fans using the same material, such as Gator Sports Nation, will be in violation of this new policy.
