Fox released a statement announcing that it will not air President Barack Obama’s primetime speech Wednesday before a joint session of Congress, reports Newsday.

Fox will broadcast the season premiere episodes of “Glee” and “So You Think You Can Dance” instead of the speech.

Here is Fox’s statement:

“The Fox Broadcasting Company will not air the presidential address to Congress on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 8 p.m. Fox’s sister networks, Fox News Channel and the Fox Business Network will air the presidential address in its entirety. FOX will alert viewers with an on-screen graphic at the top of the 8 p.m. hour that the presidential address is available on Fox News Channel and the Fox Business Network.”

  1. Intense? Lindsay Lohan will never be aware of 1 / 2 it. I propose for her a company known as Palmer Substance abuse Program. They may very well be able to aid her.
