Next month, in selected theaters in California, Illinois and Washington state, Sony will debut a new video game, "UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves" on movie screens that have Sony’s digital projection technology, Reuters reports.

According to the report, the theaters "will provide viewers with PS3s connected to Sony’s 4K digital cinema technology, which is in about 500 theaters nationwide and which Sony says provides better image resolution than traditional projectors."

The report also quotes Mike Fidler, senior vice president of Sony Electronics’ Digital Cinema Solutions and Services Group, as saying, " ‘This is the first time we’re doing it in a theater. We think it’s a start of something for us, and hope we can build this into a standard element in the movie-going experience," he said. "Our goal in converting theaters to digital is to go beyond the traditional movie-going experience and focus on helping exhibitors find ways to fill seats.’ "

  1. Just seen this on twitter cheers for the info.

  2. In related news, one of the women who slept with Tiger Woods said he never talked about golf during sex. However, he did keep his head down and his left arm straight.

  3. Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.
