Jennifer (Dr. Allison Cameron) Morrison is Leaving ‘House’

Jennifer Morrison is the first member of the original cast of "House" to be leaving the show, EW’s Michael Ausiello reports on his The Ausiello Files blog. She plays Dr. Allison Cameron.

According to the report, "Neither Fox nor Morrison’s reps would comment, but I’m told the actress did not quit; her exit was a creative decision on the part of producers. Morrison — the first of the show’s original cast members to depart — shot her last scene earlier this week and her final episode will air in November."

The repost also says that Jesse Spencer, whose character is married to Morrison’s character, will not be leaving the series. "House" debuted in 2004.

  1. Are you kidding me? If anything Cameron would have had a harder time leaving than Chase. Cameron was more forgiving of House because of her attraction to him, even after she hooked up with Chase. Season four and five were busts, and I thought season 6 might have some promise. I waited all summer, and now I am so disappointed, I don’t even want to attempt to keep watching. I am just going to buy the DVD’s for season 1-3 and convince myself it was only a three season show.

  2. So Dr Alli is gone but her hsband remains?
I wonder if it is a contract dispute?

  3. If House is truly “cured” of his drug dependence perhaps the character change which must surely be attached, does not support the “attraction” between Drs. Alli and House. He must be a less pathetic and needy, yet testosterone filled, personality. Maybe the mojo is gone.

  4. House is one of if not the best show on television-It’s very well written and the actor’s are amazing-I have enjoyed every single season. While I will miss Cameron, the show will still be stellar and this could make for a very interesting plot twist if she comes back, is no longer with Chase and House becomes amenable to her way of life!!

  5. Kudos to you! This is a really good blog here and I love your style of writing. How did you get so good at blogging?

  6. I truly admire your design. Would it be possible that you could contact me with your graphic?
