After decades as a reporter and host on "20/20" and other ABC News shows, John Stossel is leaving the network for a multiyear deal with Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network, according to TVNewser.

Stossel reportedly is going to host a weekly show on Fox Business and a quartet of hourlong specials for Fox News. He’s expected to make regular appearances on Fox News Channel during daytime and primetime.

  1. I am surprised he lasted so long at ABC

  2. I’m hoping this means he’ll be unleashed to really do what he does well: tell it like it is. ABC, meanwhile, lists further to the left.
Stossel would have been so much better a replacement for Charlie Gibson in January.

  3. It’s about time. Stossel is a real investigative reporter. There are none left on ABC, CBS, NBC or CNN for that matter. Congrats John!

  4. Thus ensuring that I’ll never see Stossel’s smug demeanor again. He’ll be a great fit with the right-wing propagandists at Fox — I can see it now — “John Stossel Reveals Obama Actually Killed His Grandma”. Stossel used to be a great reporter until he found out that fairness doesn’t get ratings. Bon voyage…

  5. I AM GLAD FOX TOOK JOHN STOSSELL, HE HAS CREDIBILITY AND PEOPLE WATCH HIM.
TOO BAD ABC, YOU DID HAVE A GOOD THING GOING.
I HOPE HE GETS TO LET LOSE AND REALLY TELL IT LIKE IT IS. GO JOHN!!!!

  6. Thank you for a great post
