Susan Boyle’s Debut Album Tops Charts Even More Than Two Months Before Release

The debut album of Scottish singer Susan Boyle, who shot to stardom on “Britain’s Got Talent,” hit the top of Amazon.com’s online retail chart, even though it doesn’t come out until Nov. 24, says People.com.

Pre-orders for “I Dreamed A Dream” pushed Boyle ahead of a much-anticipated comeback album from Whitney Houston, “I Look To You.”

  1. Why do people pre order cds? When doing this the cd ships on the relase day, so u get it on thurs. Vs jsut going to the store on Tu and getting it immediately.
    Congrats to Susan Boyle.
I wont be getting WH’s new cd bc the songs dont sound good. The cd is short, just 11 song. The lead song & last song are both written by Rapist Kelly & I wont support that.
