Workplace Comedy From ‘Arrested Development’ Creator Gets Put Pilot Commitment from Fox

Ron Howard’s multicamera workplace comedy got a put pilot commitment from Fox, where his last comedy, “Arrested Development,” also left its mark, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The show is set in an Internal Revenue Service office and will be written by Brent
Forrester, writer-director on NBC’s single-camera comedy "The Office."

Forrester and Howard are executive producers with Imagine Television’s Brian Grazer and David Nevins on the Twentieth Television show.
