White House Crashers Seeking Six Figures for Interview

The couple who crashed the White House state dinner last week canceled their planned interview with CNN and are instead trying to sell their story to the broadcast networks, asking hundreds of thousands of dollars, the Associated Press reports.

According to an unnamed television executive, representatives for Michaele and Tareq Salahi contacted the networks and suggested they "get their bids in."

Michaele Salahi has been trying to get a slot on Bravo’s "The Real Housewives of D.C."

  1. They need to be arrested, charged and any money they make from the incident should be seized under “Son Of Sam” laws that prohibit making profits from crimes. All money earned is taken and given to charity.

  2. They lied to one, or more, Federal Agencies to gain their illegal entry. May the charges fly high and wide and may their wallets be emptied of the six figures they think they should “get” for the “story” of their deed.
Any “agency” that would pay for their story should likewise suffer long range consequences. These people should be ignored by the media, (except to report their deserved prosecution).

  3. I agree 100% with Mr. Bright & News Junkie. The only photos of the couple that should appear in the news are their mug shots.

  4. I’m not sure why but, I think if their names were Mary and Bob Smith they never would have made past the main gate.
